Activision is seemingly set to raise the player count in Call of Duty: Warzone. A tweet from developer Raven Software suggests that lobbies in the free-to-play battle royale game are growing from 100 to 120 with the upcoming Season 4 launch on May 29 (as now detailed further in the CoD Season 4 patch notes).

As fans no doubt recall, Warzone originally had 150-player lobbies before this was reduced to 100 in 2023. At the time, Activision said it made this change because matches were feeling “too chaotic” with 150 players. Reducing the player count at the time also helped with matchmaking times, Activision said.
